Principal consultant
Leslie Recio, PhD, DABT, ATS
Dr. Recio is an independent consultant in genetic and investigative toxicology. He served as Chief Scientific Officer at ScitoVation and held scientific leadership roles at Integrated Laboratory Systems. His work spans regulatory genotoxicity, inhalation studies, transcriptomics, and the development of human-relevant testing methods.
He earned his PhD in Toxicology from the University of Kentucky, has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology since 1997, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Toxicological Sciences. He has served on the OECD Genetic Toxicology Expert Working Group since 2014 and contributed to the writing teams for OECD test guidelines 470 and 490.
